O banda foi a reunião de Ronnie James Dio (vocal), Tony Iommi (guitarra), Geezer Butler (baixo) e Vinny Appice (bateria), tocando sons dos álbuns Heaven And Hell (1980), Mob Rules (1981) e Dehumanizer (1992), e faixas inéditas do disco The Devil You Know, de 2009.
Breaking Out Of Heaven 2007-2009 estará disponível em 27 de março em box sets em 7 LPs e 4 CDs/Blu-rays. Ambas as edições incluem um livreto com novas notas de Hugh Gilmour, além de uma réplica do tour book e do pôster da turnê.
O trabalho marca a primeira vez que a apresentação Live From Radio City Music Hall sai em vinil e apresenta oito faixas que estreiam no formato, incluindo gravações de estúdio da fase The Dio Years e performances ao vivo selecionadas.
O Blu-ray expande o material com vídeos de Live From Radio City Music Hall e Neon Nights: 30 Years Of Heaven & Hell – Live At Wacken, além de entrevistas com a banda.
