O Jethro Tull vai relançar Living In The Past em box de 6 discos. A nova versão do trabalho, que vai sair sob o nome de Still Living In The Past, chegará ao mercado no dia 11 de julho pela Parlophone e Warner Music.

O álbum era originalmente uma coleção de faixas, outtakes e vários singles independentes que abrangiam a carreira da banda até aquele momento de sua carreira, incluindo o EP Life Is A Long Song de 1971, bem como duas gravações ao vivo tiradas de uma apresentação no Carnegie Hall, Nova York, em novembro de 1970.

Still Living In The Past, que também estará disponível em vinil duplo, trará remixes de Steven Wilson, edições, demos, Live At Carnegie Hall 1970 (remix de Steve Wilson) e quatro filmes promocionais.

“Depois de 53 anos desde sua edição original, esta nova versão com remixes de Steven Wilson e atualizações de som é uma adição esplêndida à série de álbuns do Tull”, comemorou o líder da banda, Ian Anderson.

“Na época, a ideia era principalmente atualizar a história do Tull para o público norte-americano e europeu, que talvez não tivesse tido o benefício das muitas músicas que já haviam chegado aos ouvidos dos fãs do Reino Unido”, explicou.

“Estou muito feliz por ter esse material disponível novamente e tiro o chapéu para a equipe da Parlophone e Warner Music, bem como para os colaboradores que tornaram tudo isso possível”, finalizou.
